CTL

The Centre for Teaching and Learning was established in September 2008, building on the existing teaching and learning activities within the University.

Our Aim

To enhance Teaching and Learning at NUI Maynooth through the support and development of good practice and innovation in teaching and learning.

Our Work

We support the implementation and development of the NUI Maynooth Teaching and Learning Strategy through a range of initiatives for staff and students across the University.

CTL Programmes

We provide accredited programmes for both teaching staff and postgraduate tutors and demonstrators.

CTL Workshops

We run workshops for new and experienced staff in teaching and learning and e-learning, which provide opportunities to reflect on teaching practice and enhance professional experience.

E-Learning

We support teaching staff in the use and development of e- and blended learning and in the use of learning technologies.

Academic Advisory

Academic Advisory offers a convenient first point of contact for students who wish to seek advice or assistance with their general experience of University life.
